An evaluation of speech and language involves an in-depth look at a child's whole communication system. This can involve aspects of the communication environment, his or her history of development, hearing and vision abilities, oral-motor skills (mouth movements), cognitive skills, language comprehension abilities, language production, speech articulation and coordination, social-communication skills and family language and culture. Parent input is so important in this process. If you decide that you would like to move forward with an evaluation, our speech-language pathologist will do an in-home evaluation and will provide you with a report and suggestions for your next steps.
Rate for an in-home evaluation: $100*
